Just a funny thing that Savannah said the other day. We were at the salon and I only had one client so Savannah came with me while she waited for Grandma to come pick her up. Here is how the conversation went:
Client: So how is Jon doing in UT? Is he coming home for the weekend?
Me: Yeah he is doing well, and yes he's coming home this weekend.
Savannah: We're moving to UT! I can't wait. I get to see Grammy Jan, and the babies......
client looks at me with questioning eyes
M: Oh, well ummm......Yeah we are moving. I was gonna tell you but hadn't decided the right time yet. Thanks for spilling the beans Savannah!
here comes the funny part-we all about fell out of our chairs laughing
S (in all seriousness and matter-of-fact like): What beans are you talking about, we don't have any beans here!!
Everyday is something new that shows me how big she is getting and reminds me just how smart she is. Sometimes too smart for her own good! What a kid. I sure love you Savannah!
